Re: 2014 FIFA World Cup Draw
I wonder what this means for AP?
Good ok, he gets more security?
We qualify, he gets a 10 year contract?
We do badly, HQ blame the draw and past coach or AP didn't do enough??Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023Comment

Re: 2014 FIFA World Cup Draw
Yep. As strange as it sounds it seems that we are using the World Cup as a warm up for the Asian Cup. I think that's why Schwartzer retired from international football so close to the WC.They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment

Re: 2014 FIFA World Cup Draw
I hope we can keep the damage under control but against some of the top sides in the world in Spain, Netherlands and Chile we are going to struggle if we are not prepared. I'm hoping that we prepare as best we can and come out in these games giving our all. It would be embarrassing losing heavily in the 3 games."Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. Re: 2014 FIFA World Cup Draw
The French will be laughing in their croissants this morning, after having snuck into the World Cup at the last minute and now being handed a marshmallow soft draw.
England, Italy and Uruguay is a very tricky group for Italy - any team with Lius Suarez in it must be respected, and England have enough quality to trouble anyone on a given day.
Group D is definitely the 'Group of Death'.Comment
