    Glad it wasn't Martinez....wasn't getting a good feeling about that. Everything I've read re: Rodgers is extremely impressive. Higher defensive line that allows Reina to sweep and use more space, which he will like.

          Lots of rumours coming out of the Bridge that common sense is prevailing and RDM has been offered and accepted the Chelsea job.
          The curse is dead.

            A couple more managerial appointments. Birmingham's Chris Hughton has taken over the reins at Norwich & Liverpool's Assistant Steve Clarke has been appointed Manager at West Brom.

              My friends, now that the 2011-12 EPL Season has well and truly been run and won, the time has come to close the book on what was a wonderful season of football and turn our attention to that which comes before us.

              I will start threads to discuss manager and player movement so that the conversation can continue as freely as it has.

              Thank you all for your passionate discussion over the season. Its been a joy to moderate it.
