Looks like Modric act 2 carrying on from last summer. Levy should have taken the £40 when he had the chance, apparently Luka was promised to be sent to the club of his choice this summer(English) if he stayed the extra year. Real & Chelsea interest should help bump up his price.

Looks like Hulk to Chelsea is a done deal(joining Hazard and Marin). Now for an mid(Fellaini, Dembele, Modric, Willian or Roberto) and a RB(van der Wiel) and we'll be set for a big season.
    The curse is dead.

Now that all European domestic seasons are done and dusted please post news of all transfer rumors and announcements in this thread. I'll move some of the relevant posts off the EPL thread and close that one off.

Robin Van Persie could be on the move. Man City, (Bloody) Barca and Real Madrid are all in the race for him.

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Can't really blame him as he will double his wage at those other clubs.

Man C are offering 310, 000 quid a week according to one of the articles on that Sun webpage.

He's not worth that much IMO, to bad UEFA aren't going to have the balls to really enforce the FFP.

It must sting losing your better players each season. Nasri, Fabregas now apparently RVP.

Losing Fabregas was a huge kick in the guts. We signed him young and developed him into one of the best midfielders in the world. I can kind of understand though because the pressure on him to return home must have been immense. Especially after Spain won the World Cup. Having said that having him last season might have just one us some silverware. Not the Premier League title but maybe one of the domestic cups.

Nasri* just wanted too much-City are welcome to him. Good player but the money Man C are paying him is just insane.

*My son said a swear word when I told him that Nasri had scored for France last night. Under the circumstances I let it slide.

Maicon and Moses just about wrapped up to join Chelsea, will be a nice couple of signings.

We've thrown our hat in the ring for Modric, but Levy won't sell to us.

About as poor as the team that will wear it.
The united shirt looks like a tea Towel! Who designs these turgid outfits ?
                        Stevie Wonder??

I'm a big fan of Chelsea new home and 2nd shirts, they both look classy. Uniteds looks like a tea towel.

Robin Van Persie won't sign a new contract so it looks like he's off to Citeh. Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko, Balotelli and RVP. How many strikers do they need?

                            I subscribe to a podcast called The Tuesday Club. It's hosted by Alan Davies along with some mates he goes to see Arsenal with. It's pretty funny stuff, especially if you're a Gooner. Anyway this is what they had to say last October about Arsenal without RVP;

And you're right, how many strikers do they need? They are just buying players for the hell of it now. Unless Man C intend to use RVP in a more creative midfield role?

Apparently.................................................. ....Chelsea have pulled off another transfer coup by clinching the signature of £25million Brazilian wonderkid Oscar. Nice.

Don't like the Zlatan Ibrahimovich rumours though, can't be true.

Or Borini signing with Pool, quit Chelsea because he was homesick
