It's official! David Moyes is the new Manchester United manager. He has signed a 6 year deal. Will be interesting to see how he goes with us.

Moyes hasn't got a great record with Everton? Is he any good?

He doesn't come with the same pedigree as Fergie had when when first started.

He has made Everton a very competitive team who can beat the likes of us, Chelsea, Liverpool etc. Some of Everton's players have been sought after by the bigger clubs.

Apparantley Moyes has never won away against Chelsea/Arsenal/United/Liverpool in 50 attempts.

Sure that will change though.

In fairness though the Scottish league wasn't dominated then by the big 2.
Formerly the big 2
Dundee united were fairly handy back then as well.

It's pretty common knowledge now I would say, though it won't be announced until after the 1st of July(and once a release from RM is worked out, if he doesn't get sacked before then).

The Special One's hinting with every interview he gets nowadays.

Still shocked by the signing of Moyes. Limited tactically, never had any success, never had to deal with big egos, never had to rotate a squad, only trip to CL was a massive failure. 0 wins from 50 against the Old "big 4" away from home.

David Moyes does have very good man management skills which is a strength. He will have more money to spend with us compared to what he had at Everton.
