Man Utd striker Danny Welback signs a new deal which we keep him with us until at least June 2016.

We have also signed Dutch left back Alexander Buttner from Vitesse Arnhem for an undisclosed fee.

Liverpool look set to beat Arsenal to Nuri Sahin after offering a better wage. Nice effort by pool if true.

Barca and ManC are both offering £30mil for David Luiz, but there's no way he's going anywhere.

I think you guys have spent around 70 million pounds in that ballpark.

Yeah around that, but I don't think it's finished yet. Apparently the CL win netted us around 100-150mil and it's been reinvested into the team. A lot of big names have left Chelsea over the last couple of seasons.

With those big names leaving you definitely would get quite a lot back to spend on new players.

It's a nice thought but the CL winners get 45m. After increase in merch and detractions of bonuses you are looking at netting 55m at an absolute max. This sudden jump to 100-150m which only came about this season is to ready people for the shafting of the FFP which will never be implemented. Lots of hard talk, no action at all.

Chelsea, City and PSG have made a mockery of it already.

You can probably add RM, Barca, Juve, AC and BM to that list. The FFP is a joke and fifa will never enforce it. I would never defend Chelseas spending, but i will enjoy it.

I've read a lot of reports suggesting a CL win is huge win fall for a club in the vicinity of 100-150 million, the prize money is 50million but there's a lot of add ons, bonuses etc.

How much does the Europa League winner get. Winning the EPL I would say would net you a lot as well.

From what I read Arsene wanted a permanant transfer and wasnt interested in the one year loan stipulation. He could turn out to be this year's Mata for us. We faff about while a player goes to another club.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Who would the bonus come from? You'd have to pay millions in bonuses to the players. Facts are winning the CL has always been thought of as a 60m payoff. Chelsea who already spent 60m+ last season and started to spend another 80m this season won it and suddenly it bumps up to 150m. Utter fantasy stuff, or more realistically preparing a way to not bother with the FFP.

RM, Barca and Milan haven't spent anything really in the last 14 months (3 transfer windows), wouldn't include them in the mockery. No idea on Juve.

And I too wouldn't mind that spending at my club. It is the only way teams can compete now.

Fair enough, im just going by figures and reports I've read elsewhere. Also we have had to spend more over the last to years as we gave had quite a few big names leave, I'll add them to this post once i get home from work.

According to BBC Sport Fergie says Manchester United summer transfers done.

                            We have signed:

                            Robin Van Persie (Striker)
                            Angelo Henriquez (Striker)
                            Shinji Kagawa (Midfielder)
