Not madness Bornadog , just a sign of the times , it was only 2 years ago Chelsea payed 100 million pounds for Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez , a 100 million each my god ,so 30 million more for a striker of the quality of Isak isnt that unique . Actually every side in the EPL would pay that gladly if they could afford it for a player like Isak .
He will make it very very hard for any side to knock Liverpool off the top .
They now have Arguably the best striker in the world in Isak and Hugo Ekitike who has hit the ground running with goals in his 1st couple of games , so they will be very hard to beat this season .
But your so right transfere money is completly out of control .

He's an absolute star BAD, and I'm glad we held out instead of allowing ourselves to be low balled and manipulated by the media into accepting anything lower than most teams would value him at. Liverpool's first offer was disingenuous and has compromised the player.
