Cheers chef, finally got a chance to read that link. I didn't realise that purchases were amortised over the life of the contract. That makes a massive difference!

With those 3 in you guys must be favourites. Hopefully Spurs can get Lukaku.

He's never had it and has had no interest from any clubs in it previously. Think he'll be waiting a long time for that kind of offer.

Atletico, Juve, Valencia and Roma are all interested apparently and can offer CL football. Arsenal would be too if there was a slight chance we'd sell to them.

you guys have sold to Arsenal before. Can't see why you wouldn't now.

Of those 4 the 2 Spanish teams have no money and Juve are stacked at his position. Dunno I just can't see it happening at Roma.

Perhaps Atletico via a swap but for Costa but yeah, we'll see

Last time it was Galas(off the top of my head), who we couldn't wait to get rid of and it helped us get Cole. Very few and fair between, it was only last season we wouldn't let Ba go there. Just can't see it happening myself.

Last time it was Galas(off the top of my head), who we couldn't wait to get rid of and it helped us get Cole. Very few and fair between, it was only last season we wouldn't let Ba go there. Just can't see it happening myself.

Yeah but you didnt sell Ba to anyone, because I suspect he was a needed squad player. Had no problems selling to Man Utd.

We tried to sell Ba to West Ham but it fell over at the death, Arsenal were desperate to get him on loan. We wouldn't have loaned out Rom if Demba went.

Mata() was a bit different, Man U offered overs, weren't seen as a threat and it was hoped he could help take points off the other challenges(we had already played them twice). Next season it could bite us.

But it's all moot when it comes to Lukaku as he's not going to want to compete with Giroud for a spot(he was worried about competing with Torres and Eto'o), he wants to be able to walk into a striking role without any competition.

Everton, Wolfsburg or Spurs would be perfect for him.

Giroud makes more goals than he scores though. He will get the ball into Lukaku's path inside the box 3 or 4 times a game.

He plays Giroud and YaYa Sanago. Lukaku is an upgrade on Yaya in the here and now.
