    Re: 2012-13 EPL Thread

Looking forward to watching the Newcastle vs Chelsea game on replay at some stage this week.

Two wins in a row has taken some pressure off the club putting us eight clear above the relegation zone, it would be fantastic if we could sneak a point at Tottenham next week.
    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Unfortunately a point at home against Norridge isn't good enough for the R's. A missed penalty from Taraabt really sums up the season. Oh well the Championship beckons especially with Reading finding some form (Reading are only behind Man Utd
n terms of points gained over the last 6 games).

We needed to Cook my man. I'm actually a bit staggered we've been able to rebound to this extent, to be honest I was resigned to relegation as I've seen it all before.

BTW, the face kick looks to be a foul at a minimum, and I do think there's justification for pulling out a red for it. The NUFC player could have put a body in there instead of a high kick.

              Just saw it tonight.
              Should have been red.

Good result for UTD's title hopes with City being held.
Hear there's going to be a clear out at the Middle East money pit.
Good result for Tottenham's champions league quest.

                  Title race over.

We were lucky to equalize, Liverpool were by far the better side.

Story of Liverpool's season, play well but don't come away with maximum points. Too many brain fades from defenders. Personally I don't rate Agger, he's now lost touch in the box with his direct opponent in recent weeks & all have led to goals; van Persie, Giroud & Djeko. Skirtl also at fault against United when he needlessly fouled Wellbeck then stood in the wall rather than where the ball was played when Evra headed in & the less said about Raina the better; stood flat footed when Walcott shot past him & last night came out of his area leaving his goal unguarded. Coates well beaten by the Oldham striker in the air. The only centre back looking half decent at the moment is Carragher & that's a worry!

Agreed, they need a new back set because they consistently make ridiculous errors.

They certainly look dangerous with a Sturridge/Suarez partnership though. Sturridge was absolutely brilliant last night, and in the few other games I've seen him play for Liverpool, he's been good too. Perhaps he's turned the corner.

Just 4 points behind ManC now. Huge game against them next at the Etihad.

Spurs looking good as well, wouldn't be surprised to see them finish 2nd.

United to stitch up the season tonight.

Thankfully I didn't stay up to watch City's loss.

As you said chef, wouldn't be surprised to see Spurs finish second.

                                Very important win overnight.
The immortal Ryan Giggs scores( on field that is)
His record of a goal in each of his 21 seasons is truly remarkable.
The Welsh Wizard has set a record that won't be touched
