I haven't watched a lot of Chelsea this year, but it seems like one minute they're playing incredible football and the next they're absolutely dreadful.

Man Utd win 1-0 against West Ham in the replay and we progress to the 4th round.

Solid from Man Utd as we win 4-1 against Fulham in the 4th round and progress into the 5th round.

Great day for former 1st division team Luton Town.
The Hatters have ridden hard times and pulled off a massive upset beating Norwich.
They're the first non league club to beat top flight opposition since Sutton UTd knocked over Coventry in 89.
Ahhh Luton the team in the 80's who had that plastic pitch that upset the former top dog of English Football

The shock results from the smaller teams against the bigger teams is always nice to hear in the FA Cup as long as the shocks aren't against our team Man Utd

Remember United going out to Bournemouth ( managed by Ol' Arry ) in 84.
Unfortunately the cup has lost it's lustre , for most teams.
For me the Luton and MK Dons results give some hope that there's life in the old Cup comp yet.

I was born in 89 so I wouldn't know but the 70s and 80s for us reading the history we were quite average. We did though have a scare one year in the 3rd round against non league Exeter but got through in the end.

Fernado Torres saves Chelsea as they draw 2-2 with Brentford in the 4th round to force a replay. Benitez I'd imagine would be in trouble.

That was nearly embarrassing. Benitez won't be going anywhere until the end of the season while we are entrenched in the top 4, but he won't get another year.

                    Spurs and Pool dumped out.
                    The curse is dead.

You guys were the FA cup holders at the time but not the dominant team you are now.

I can vividly remember Wrexham knocking Arsenal out of the cup in '92.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Great results for Leeds and Oldham.
Oldham are basically running of the smell of an oily rag.
They sacked all their coaches just recently, vividly recall them being handy when the premier league started.

Benitez has the potential to be a good manager but he doesn't do it consistently enough. He is a very good tactician but his man management skills aren't the best. Surely in the return match you should beat Brentford.

I would say that you have that around the wrong way. The players actually like 'The fat one', but his tactics leave a bit to be desired(eg. 80th minute changes when we haven't been playing well all game)
