Yeah we got lucky, although Hart had a point in that he would have dived for it. He wouldn't have saved it, but they're the rules.

The foul and subsequent injury to Nasri was pathetic, no idea how that wasn't a red card offence.

Watched a bit of the Liverpool Hull.
How hull didn't get a penalty for Skirtel's WWF manouvere on the goal line was baffling.

Correction Stoke. Just an observation, Stoke have the loudest home support I've heard.
Comes across very loud on BBC sports world.

I believe RM Stoke are the loudest in the EPL. They did a sound check and in decibels and they clocked in as being the loudest. Our home support at Old Trafford isn't the best but I've heard that our away support is great.

                  Law 11 - Offside

                  Offside position

It is not an offence in itself to be in an offside position.

A player is in an offside position if:
                  • he is nearer to his opponents’ goal line than both the ball and the
                  second-last opponent
A player is not in an offside position if:
                  • he is in his own half of the fi eld of play or
                  • he is level with the second-last opponent or
                  • he is level with the last two opponents

                  Offence

A player in an offside position is only penalised if, at the moment the ball
touches or is played by one of his team, he is, in the opinion of the referee,
                  involved in active play by:
                  • interfering with play or
                  • interfering with an opponent or
                  • gaining an advantage by being in that position

I fail to see how what I am seeing in the post above fits the category of interfering with play, interfering with an opponent or gaining an advantage.

As a matter of interest #3 clearly has his foot inside the penalty area well before the kick is taken.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

And the player had been standing there for a while.

The United away support is legendary. The home support is full of the prawn sandwich brigade( Roy Keane is right)

How can you not be interfering with play if you are standing on the goal line? You change the keepers positioning, his ability to dive.

He's not on the goal line.

Hart wasn't stopping that even if Gourffan wasn't there. No interference for me.
