Yeah certainly a surprise based on the form Liverpool is in. Man City are so strong at home it's really their poor away record that is helping everyone else out.

If city ever get their away act together they will run away with the title.

That's right. They will be so hard to catch up to.

Pretty sure they haven't played Chelsea or City yet.

I still have zero confidence we can do that. The contrast of our form home and away is quite ridiculous, but this next 5-6 week block will tell us a lot more.

Felt for Spurs last night, they should have beaten United but two absolute howlers gifted Rooney goals. Sandro's goal was amazing - if anyone hasn't seen it, go and take a look. It was one of the best you'll see.

They have an easy next 2 games then play Spurs (A), Cardiff (H), City (A), Chelsea (A) in the space of 15 days.

I've never been one to buy into conspiracy theories, particularly when the World Game is involved, but some of the decisions that got Barca and Real through in the ECL in recent years have been almost too farcical to be honest mistakes.

I'll never forget this game(09 semi aginst UEFAlona), worst refereeing/umpiring I've ever seen.

Nope, neithers Arsenal for that matter. Going to be cracking games.

Just finished watching the Chelsea - Southampton replay, what a cracking game and a great win for the the Chels.

Loving hearing the rumours that Luke Shaw is being lined up as Coles replacement, what a gun he is already.

How did Sputhampton score 12 seconds in?

*edit* just watched it who was that lobbed the ball into the area? Very obliging of him.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

As much as it was a bad pass from Essien, Cech was also asleep,

As a neutral supporter (this year anyway) I am loving the PL this season. It is great to see Arsenal leading and playing some great football. Hopefully they can win the title this season. It will be interesting to see if the big guns in City, Chelsea and United can catch them.

It is also good to see Everton playing a more expansive game under Martinez (whom I really rate). I have really enjoyed watching them.

Cech looked to me to be caught in 2 minds. Like he didn't know whether to come and meet the ball or stay on his line and let it bounce to him. By the time the ball got there it was too late. Essien should have kicked the ball to the touch line I reckon.

Speaking of Essien he looks slow all of a sudden.

Hes been slow for a couple seasons now, his knees are shot. This will be his last season at the Bridge sadly, Bison was quite the player in his prime and hes exactly what we are missing ATM.
