Really? many people point to get as a primary reason for his career going off track- Media headline chasing, publicly fighting with his Mum etc.

          Are you thinking of Warner?

This is from last Saturdays age. No mention of the mum though

            .
Johnson was dropped for the next Test in Hobart against Sri Lanka, to allow for the return of Peter Siddle and Ben Hilfenhaus. Any fears his axing may have affected him were quickly dispelled as the birth of he and wife Jessica's first child, Rubika, a week earlier had already begun to skew - positively - his view on cricket.
''Having a daughter changes things a lot,'' says manager Halvorsen. He also lauds the impact of Jessica, a former karate champion, on Johnson. ''She's an elite sportswoman in her own right, so she understands the pressure that builds for any sportsperson,'' he says. ''She's determined, strong, supportive … they just have a honest, open relationship.''

Last 2 balls of the day nearly produced 2 wickets. Root went for a suicidal single and nearly ran Carberry out, then Carberry trapped in front and given not out, and we didn't review when it would have been overturned if we had. If I was Carberry and I was dismissed that last ball, I would have been filthy at Root for rushing to get off strike on the 2nd last ball and nearly running him out.

Fair enough. He was actually the number 1 player in the world when he started dating her, 6 months later he was a mess. It's pretty trendy at the moment to praise the partner, Perhaps she's rebuilt what she tore down

A couple of early wickets this morning will really put the pressure on them.
Lyon was getting a lot of turn late in the day and might be a handful for them while the quick bowlers try and rough them up

Not Lyon's best bowl but good to get Root. Just need Siddle to knock over KP.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Maybe ECB should ask that Adelaide is taken off the schedule too!

Johnson, has been sensational taking three after lunch.

Broad carrying on about the site screen, Johnson one ball to bowl for the over, finally he bowls it and Broad out for a duck.

I can't really remember such a good fielding performance. Very, very impressive backing up Johnson for 5fa.

He has to keep the mo. Lordy this spell is amazing, 6/30, with two hatrick balls. Wow!
