I'd go an hour,or a half hour shot before lunch .
Might be spooked by the South African series a few years back, but the wicket looks more cooked than that one.

I'm inclined to bat them out of it, we shouldn't be giving them a chance to win when we're 2-0 up. Bat for half of tomorrow and we should be 500 up with a day and a half to play.
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

I'd certainly bat until 500 in front - bat them out of this one first. Provided we are still scoring at about 4 per over.

4.5 sessions bowling at them in the 4th innings should be enough.

England have so far made 136, 179, 172, 312 & 251 in each innings of this series.. We already have more than enough especially given how worn the wicket is.

Bat for 1 hour and then have 2 good cracks at them with a new/newish ball pre and post lunch.

One of the more interesting run outs I've seen.

                  Watson's innings just confirms to me he's a ODI / T/20 player.

you're not the only one BDT. From The Guardian - posted when Watson was on 50.

Watson brings up his half-century with a single before Smith is artlessly flogging one down the ground for two. Neither are showing any particular respect for the bowling here. This situation is tailor-made for a Watson hundred actually. He doesn't really have to think about anything other than biffing it and there is virtually no pressure on him. Put it in the book.

I didn't see it, but apparently Ian Healy was able to put his iphone down one of the cracks in the pitch! Is that right?
