Vics have recovered from 4/31 to 4/65.

Wade hauled us to 260 with his 150 and we now have the Queenslanders on the backfoot at 4/50. This is a very good Bushranger attack so you can never write them off

Queensland on fire with a double century to Lynn and a century to Hartley.

Both should be in the test side. Hartley especially; has transformed into a super reliable bat and is twice the keeper Haddin is.

Queensland win by an innings and 13 runs. Vic's fail to put up much of a fight after winning the toss.

Perhaps it's just my memory but we always seem to struggle up there.

You would think with that bowling attack that we would put up more of a fight.

Nope it's not your memory. It used to be that Victoria would play in Brisbane in early season when the ball was darting all over the place and we'd lose by an innings each year.

We won the toss and batted in this game. Wade and Pattinson got us to a decent score in the first innings.
Handscomb's run of form came to an end and despite two good innings by Wade we were well short of the mark

Managed to catch some of SA v WA today, both Marsh and my cricket crush Sam Whiteman made very good hundreds after battling through on Day 1. Meanwhile Fawad Ahmed has dropped from talk but has risen to the top of the Shield wicket table!

                            Victoria on top at Glenelg.

Vics 534/6 dec, Quinney and Hussey centuries and wade with 83. SA 5/134 in raplyn need another 400 to get the first innings points. Siddle 4/29 of 12.
