Got better as the game went on. Created plenty of chances and had some others get on the scoresheet besides Cahill for a change. Not sure what Leckie has to do to score.

Defence was a little sloppy at times. Thought Ryan was good, made some excellent saves.

Good win and a great game to watch.

Yep it's good to get the first match out of the way and get the 3 points. We created lots of chances which was important. Our next two opponents Oman and South Korea will be tougher.

Good result in the end. Especially if Goal difference decides final placings in the group stage. A 3 goal buffer in one game could almost be worth 2 wins to us.

Hmmm might be a difficult homecoming if North Korea don't lift.
Great 1st half from the Aussies and nice to see Mark Milligan on the score sheet.
Volley should have been allowed, but a contrast to the horrible World Cup qualifier game against Oman.

We have set ourselves up extremely well and lead 3-0 at half time but need to make sure in the 2nd half we keep it going.

Completely dominated and embarrassed Oman. To think the talent we took off just after the half and still dominated shows how deep our squad goes and that's without Mile. Some will say don't get to excited yet but I am, to see the confidence and how the team just plays together is a pleasure to watch.

We had an excellent World Cup but it was a shame all our talent wasn't available. Well it just about is there for all to see now and with Kruse, Oar and Luongo on the Ground anything is possible. We were a level behind Japan last time we met, but I think we have easily come up to them and with the Confidence so high at home I definitely think we can take this Cup.

Considering how poor we were against Oman previously this is a decent result.
Thought we played extremely well, and yes they were God awful .
