Really nice to be entertained by an Australian side, playing some real quality football and some of the depth in the squad is starting to shine through. Luongo is a gun.

Going to North Korea vs Saudi Arabia tonight which should be interesting. Anybody else going/been to any games?

Why are we taking about the Asia cup?
North Korean news agencies reporting Victory in the final.
Might be issues when that squad and coach return home

North Korea vs Saudi Arabia last night was great.

North Korea scored first, in a 5 goals match, with plenty of scoring opportunities, a red card, a saved penalty, push AND shove, a bigger crowd than most City games and a very amusing North Korean supporters section which most likely featured no North Koreans.

Highly recommend going, I am keen for the blockbuster clash between Palestine and Jordan on friday now.

Brilliant goal from Iran ( bergkamp like) Qatar were okay until the final third .
Sets up a possible Iran Aussie semi final.
Yikes ! What next a Bulldog Crow prelim final

They should driag Peter Hoare around in the back of a tractor on the ground before the game so we know for a fact he's not going to interfere with this one.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

And just as I say that Korea scores. Jinxed it.

Gee that was a bit of a reality check.

                          We've got China up next.

The Koreans defended well but we certainly were the better team in the 2nd half and with the chances we had should have got an equaliser. At least we were already through to the quarters.

Better team lost , but they defended brilliantly in their box .
Aussies could have won that game 3 times over.

The lack of a clinical striker really hurt us, we're desperate for someone to finish the good work
