Although 27 to advantage is an impressive stat.
They should have got something out of the HTA - the rest of the team must have been crap.

Did I hear correctly that apparently last week (against Meek no less) Jordon Sweet had the highest rated Champion Data game by anybody this season? Was something like 31.9

Maybe we can substitute Sweet in whenever we play against Hawthorn

Sweet must have had his highest disposals ever with 22 with Meek only having 12. However, Meek 45 hitouts (HTA 10) to Sweet 42 (HTA 12 )

I wonder how ratings stats work?

Daniel appears to be copping a lot in the media and online. Haven't watched many Norf games at all but some of the vision didn't paint him in a great light.

What's happened to him? It's been a pretty big fall from grace when he was AA.

I don't think anything really happened, just teams worked out his strengths and shut them down.

He has had a remarkable career for a small who also lacks pace.

His kicking and decision making have definitely gone backwards, though perhaps there is an element of his teammates at Norf not offering the options he wants. He has always taken time with the ball, but would then hit absolutely elite dangerous kicks. Last year for us and this year for norf he is running in circles and then turning it over.

However the blame he is getting for Norf's lack of defensive structure is a bit much. There is nothing to work with. They were a rabble against the Cats.

As you say last year for us he was running in circles.

I think teams just worked out that he takes too long and you can just close off his options.

No doubt we could have still used him this year but we couldn't have responsibly given him the type of deal and opportunities l North could.

I don't see how we could have played him at all.

He would have needed to spend summer learning to be a lockdown small defender (unlikely) or a pressure forward (unlikely). I agree he wasn't getting a game for us ahead of Dale, Bramble, JJ, Cleary.

Daniel will always be a BullGod but I almost feel sorry for North for giving us pick 25 and taking on his entire $800k per season salary. It's a list management master class by Sam Power.

Only love for both Jack and Caleb. I thought it was the right decision at the time and now with the benefit of hindsight, it is 100% the right call on both of them. Kennedy has had more influence than Jack in the last couple of years (especially his ability to hit the scoreboard) and the way the game has evolved has not suited Caleb's attributes unforunately.
