Poor Ryehahn, reduced to a tagger and now out for 10 weeks. Won't get to boo at the TV in a few weeks now.
Giant blow: Ryan Griffen ruled out for 10 weeks
GREATER Western Sydney's midfield stocks have been further weakened with Ryan Griffen set to miss 10 weeks with an ankle injury.
Griffen suffered a syndesmosis of the left ankle during the second quarter of the Giants' 42-point win over North Melbourne on Saturday, and with tough vice-captain Stephen Coniglio (ankle), Brett Deledio (calf), Matt de Boer (hamstring) and Tendai Mzungu (hamstring) also in the rehab room, the loss of Griffen comes as a massive blow for coach Leon Cameron.
The veteran has struggled to find his best form since crossing over from the Western Bulldogs at the end of 2014, and missed multiple games with back and hamstring issues last year.
But the 30-year-old played an important role in shutting down Gold Coast superstar Gary Ablett when he was on the ball in round two, and started last week's game with a similar job on Kangaroo Shaun Higgins before he was forced from the field.Comment

'Struggled to find his best form'....
Spare me. It's: 'Not found any form'. The longer time plays out, the more this trade is mounting even more strongly in our favour. We get the #1 draft pick, who won us a premiership. They got a bloke who is struggling to play, and Marchbank who walked out. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, when journos review this trade shortly then they'll be a 180 reversal. I suspect this will be used as the public reasoning many clubs will make for huge plays, especially the $9,000,000 Kelly offer. It will be interesting to see if Barrett as a North cheer leader will review his public stance on these trades.Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023Comment

I'm with you. Like Wallace & Nathan B, I'm sure in years to come many might thaw their frustration. But that's many more years for me to get close.Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023Comment
