Our new recruiting guy should know a fair bit about Stengle.

Absolutely to Tyson Stengle - exactly what we are after and more potential uplift than Lloyd. Had moments of electricity and brilliance in first final against Williamstown.

Still no news on Redpath and possible retirement. What are we waiting for?

I heard that he is prepared to knock back better deals to stay at Geelong

The player is contracted, it's his decision to make.

I just hope we stay well clear of Hannebury. I think he is shot, even though he is only 27.

If part of moving Dahlhaus on is because he's a party boy, then bringing in Hanneberry would be pretty hypocritical.

                      Surely this will not happen.

Heard on SEN yesterday McGovern to Hawks and not Carlton.

I think it's almost certain he is going to the saints. Should fit in nicely with Carlisle

I'd imagine both are gettable for late picks. Stengle is the type we should target - exposure to an elite environment and will have two pre-seasons under his belt by round 1.

Every year we have someone come from the clouds and stamp themselves best 22 (Gowers in 2018, although Naughton and Richards and Schache and Crozier changed the face of our best 22 as well). Lloyd and/or Stengle could be part of the 2019 version.

Quite possible, especially if pick 1 is off to GWS for Shiel. They have the Lynch money to spend (especially if they offload Roughy).

I like the Stengle pickup - I think he has some talent and a better player but a worse fit than some of the guys that Richmond actually play in their 22; more of a natural goal kicker but perhaps less able to apply defensive pressure because of his size.
