We wanted to draft him and have approached him every time he's been up for contract, so yes for sure.
North can afford big dollars though.

You’d think they could and everyone can make their own choices, but if you want to ever play in anything close to a flag, surely you’re getting out of North? They’re going to be down for at least a decade.

I’ll take McKay while hoping like hell Darcy’s development somehow accelerates by 12 months and he’s ready to play consistently in the forward/ruck role by mid next year.

What about Hayden McLean from Sydney as a cheap option for second ruck / forward?

He has only played 8 games this year and has been overtaken by Peter Ladhams as the second ruck option.

McDonald and Sam Reid seem to be preferred as the other key position players.

McLean is definitely the type we should be looking at. Would have played ahead of Schache, Cordy, Khamis etc this year.

Do you rate him Mofra? I get his brother is very good but I know little about this guy.

This is the pertinent question that still hasn't been addressed here. We know he's tall, but is he any good?

I honestly don't know the answer as our games are hard enough to watch, I have no desire whatsoever to watch North play.

His stats are fairly underwhelming, but of course stats only tell part of the story, especially for a KPD.

So is he any good?
