19 would have been a reasonable offer for Marshall if the saints had needed his contract gone. But with the saints wanting to keep him, the cats should have offered up something else. Marshall would have significantly improved them imo.

They did in the end - pick 19 plus a future second rounder, but the saints still knocked it back.

Ah didn't see that. Not sure why saints didn't deal. I honestly thought part of the TDK free agency push was so they could bring a guy in for free, and cash in the other guy for picks.
