        Bontempelli, Stringer and Hrovat were number one, two and four respectively for player ratings points per game this season:

        1. Bontempelli - 11.7 points per game
        2. Stringer - 10.3 ppg
        3. Dunstan - 10.2 ppg
        4. Hrovat - 9.5 ppg
        5. Langdon - 9.4 ppg
        6. Aish - 9.3 ppg

        If the AFL were serious about this award, they would give it based on their own official player ratings! Take the media bias out of it!

                    In the time frame he was talking about, Crossy hadn't left either. I think he was talking about long-term midfield making.
