Thanks for the updates. I enjoy how we have many match sims, it makes sense, however is there any holding back on the back of what happened to O’Driscoll last year? Hoping for no major injuries to key play makers

You can't hold back. Unfortunately, accidents happen in full contact sports

I’m with you Danny, just curious if there have been any changes. I thought I saw something from the players association coming down on clubs about too much contact over the off season but maybe I’m mistaken

De Goey exploded in form in his 4th year. Petracca in his 6th. Stringer in his 3rd.

Similar type of player to these 3, I think we need to expect 2027 onwards to be when he begins delivering at the absolute earliest. Exciting prospect, needs time

Just some snippets from today's session.
Treloar on a very limited and modified training program. He was on the track but isn't even doing a lot of running
I've gone back and checked the training reports from 12 months back and he was in a very modified program back then so given his AA season there isn't a lot to get concerned about yet.
Weightman wasn't really on the track in any capacity. At least we now it's a knee issue.
Gallagher was in a t-shirt and he wasn't part of training. Scott was obviously missing and will be sidelined for 5 weeks with a knee injury.
Lobb wasn't in the track. Croft was on the track but didn't fully participate in the drills and spent time with the rehab group.
M.Kennedy JJ, L.Jones, Harmes and Smith did a lot of slower paced running. Liberatore came off very early
The draftees all were on the track well before 9am in a specialized set of drills and were back in the clubhouse by 9.30am
No doubt it's a managed workload consideration and to probably get them freshened up for Friday and the likely scenario of a match sim.

A couple of the standouts today were Rhylee West who just seemed to use the ball so well
Ryley Sanders was also noticeable and put on a nice performance in front of his parents.
With players rotating in a variety of drills, Ryan Gardner seemed to perform well. Being injury free for all of the preseason is probably huge for him.
Arty Jones and Jedd Busslinger also caught the eye.

Bloody hell. Reports that Scott has done his knee. Does anyone know if this is true
                BB.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

would love to see West break out further, to me he has all the tools to rival the leagues best half forwards

Thanks Gary. Much appreciated the efforts you put into the reports.

What were the good features from training from Arty and Judd.

                        A shame about Scott.

Sounds like Sanders from reading all the reports is ready to progress even further this season after a decent first season.

West another really good hearing him having a good pre-season.

He has always had a good build, but he has put on a decent amount of muscle in the last eight years.
