Sorry Woofers, busy across the weekend, and couldn't make the drive from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast to watch training.

Whilst impressive the defending of that particular piece of play was worrying.
To the regular track watchers, including yourself, do you feel we've improved at defending the ''out the front clearance''?👍 1Comment

Wow nice call you predicted Jones and Treloar injuries , what else does your crystal ball tell you ?. Both finished top 4 in our B&F last year , both are super fit athletes , why was it predictable ? becasue of their ages ,so your saying all the 30 plus players at our club or even the AFL, will be injured because of their age , bit of a long bow your drawing there , bit harsh i feel .Injuries to our key players are always disappointing, but honestly, most of them were predictable. Jones is 33, turning 34 this month, and Treloar has had persistent calf issues—given he relies on explosive speed and fast-twitch fibres, this was bound to happen. As for JJ, his body just can’t handle the demands of professional footy anymore—it was obvious two years ago. We kept him on for his speed and skill because we needed it in the squad, but in hindsight, it never really made sense.
Not too worried about English, though. Unless the club is telling fibs, it sounds like a minor injury, and he should be back to full-contact training in a few weeks.

I haven't see that sort of clearance outside of the Bont in many match sims at all. With Garcia, Kennedy and even Brew at times taking up defensive positions it hasn't had that free flow out of the middle.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

On the one hand these injuries I’m interested to see some of these guys fill in the gaps - Sanders, Davidson, JOD, Khamis or Buss these guys with another pre-season under their belt, I’m optimistic they can step up and better prepared compared to last year, obviously Davidson and Buss would be debuting.
On the other hand we really need to hit the ground running this year and realistically we need at least 3 wins in the first 5 matches. One home game against Blues, Freo and Lions isn’t going to be easy.👍 1Comment

It's a tough early draw for us. We need to get off to a fast start. 4 wins from the first 5 games wouldn't be a bad spot.On the one hand these injuries I’m interested to see some of these guys fill in the gaps - Sanders, Davidson, JOD, Khamis or Buss these guys with another pre-season under their belt, I’m optimistic they can step up and better prepared compared to last year, obviously Davidson and Buss would be debuting.

Crossly or another ruckman should have been with us the entire preseason. This smells as we have Pressed the panic button recently. It’s was obvious we were short a backup ruckman last season.we want Darcy playing very few backup minutes in the ruck and hoping Lobb can continue his form at chb and just leave him there.. poor list management from our club..👍 1
