Liam Jones was 1-3 weeks away - do we bring him back at the 1 week mark? Or JOD two weeks after fractured jaw? Or time for the Buss to be slung?

I think we will need to content ourselves with Buku and JOD vs Charlie and Harry - and hope that Curnow is as much of a liability as he was last night.
Scrimshaw got multiple weeks because of a swinging arm motion in general play rather than a spoiling attempt in a marking contest. I think Lobby is in trouble but three weeks would be farcical unless they invoke the Redpath tax.

I think we give Jones another week though and JOD comes back.

At least the VFL is back tonight so we get to see if anyone puts their hand up. We have the option of moving Williams back to the wing so can accommodate bringing in a defender or two.
It would be great to have Williams back on the wing. We missed him in that role last night, even though he played well in defence. Both he and Davidson are capable of hard, two way running.

I don't see why JOD is an automatic in. He was decent enough against North but he did burn the footy and Larkey got him a few times.

Lobb and Buku have to play after last night and Jones is an automatic in - I think that's a strong trio with JOD unfortunately missing out.

I thought Williams played a strong game of footy as a defender - I'd stick with him there and probably leave out Duryea.

Lobb should be fine. It’s a free kick.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

            I’m worried about:
Buku - some good, some bad, not trusting him just yet. JOD back if fit.

Gags - I know it’s unlikely but he’s got to be better at controllable. Felt like he lost concentration in the third when on the mark and Schultz(?) just wandered past him. Reprieve just.

Dolan - he’s had a taste, showed some signs, but let’s get a block of VFL in. Maybe Hynes in?

If Jones or Treloar are ready great, another week or two may be prudent though.

Well it's pretty much either a reportable offence (2 weeks if assessed high impact, 3 weeks if assessed severe impact) or not a reportable offence.

I don't agree with it, but I just don't see any way the AFL let him off with nothing.

Lobb could get 3 weeks or zero, it's a weird one that is different to the Scrimshaw incident, Scrimshaw gave a roundhouse slinging blow to the head where's Lobb was clearly trying to spoil which may be seen as reckless.

If Lobb get's rubbed out JOD Takes his spot unless Jones is ready to go, Bevo was full of praise for Buku so he stays.

                OUT : Lobb - IN : JOD
                OUT : Dolan - IN : Hynes

Also liked Naughton doing some ruck work, with the option now of Darce and Naughts giving Timmy a chop out, when Naughton is having a tough time out there it can get him more involved and back into the game.

If Jones is ready he comes straight in for Lobb if needed.

If Coffield puts in a good performance in the VFL do we swap him for Duryea
                  Don't piss off old people
The older we get the less "LIFE IN PRISON" is a deterrent...

Please no, Duryea plays on the smaller types, Coffield is slower than me thus not suited. We're a bit light on for small defenders unfortunately. Would rather try to educate Gallagher or left field even Harmes for that role.

All the jurnos Ralph and Edmund also reckon Lobb will be cleared.

All depends if Cox is concussed or not.
More of an In Bruges guy?

I thought Williams trailed his opponent too many times early - he's a better wingman to me.
JOD was against one of the best KPFs in the comp and had a number of wins, and he moves the ball forward by foot. I'd rather let Buks intercept and get JOD in against a side with McKay & Curnow who are far better than the Collingwood marking forwards (ignoring McKays kicking!)

So he is cleared of this charge and is free to play.
JOD comes back in and we should be good to go.

In JOD and Hynes, Out Jones and Dolan

Either Liam Jones or JOD or both come in. The key is that this frees us to play JF wholly in the midfield.
