We could have pushed Lobb forward in place of Darcy - but if we do that on saturday night we're exposing a defence that is far too inexperienced to handle the Giants.
Aaand that’s why we wait to see how decisions play out before calling them wrong

intersesting that you'd make a snarky "I told you so type comment".
We won clearance by 22, and inside 50s by 15. It was hardly definitive that we were totally fine to have 40 games of experience amongst the 3 key backs and I'd suggest at quarter time we were all worried about how this was looking. Fortunately our midfield completely dominated.

Just pointing out it’s a bit silly for people to call out changes as categorically the wrong move, pre-game. Yes our midfield dominated, likely a part of the thinking in the move in the first place - if our midfield didn’t dominate well it probably wouldn’t have mattered if we had Buss or Jones down there, that’s how we win games.

At qtr time Hogan had 1 mark and Riccardi had a couple of goals one from ground level and one on a lead up that wouldn’t have mattered who was on him, and yet we still had the confidence to move Lobb fwd anyway so wouldn’t say we were that worried. We even made this move before the midfield domination.

not saying I told you so at all, I didn’t know how it was going to play out, that’s my point - no one else did either so why go off calling selections wrong pre-game. Not just targeted at you there was a heap of people across all social media calling Bevo out as an idiot etc
