Sydney were ginned up to the eyeballs for this game and they brought the heat from the opening bounce.

All things considered, this was a very good win. We lose that in 2022-2023.

What impresses me and worries me at the same time is that we didn't really get out of third gear when Sydney had four to the floor through the gears all game.
        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Kudos to Lobb for flying the flag against cheap shotting Francis

How good was the standard of footy in the 3rd quarter? Awful ground conditions but the players from both sides rose above it

Yeah that's our best win this year. They threw everything they had at us and we weren't even at our best but got the 4 points. Really encouraging. Fantastic win on the road.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Sydney should be forced to move all remaining home games to Lake Oval for the remainder of the season.

We picked up a winger with knocks on his consistency at pick 45, and in less than two seasons he's become a dynamic, classy, incredibly talented utility. Freijah is going to be a seriously special player.

I really enjoyed it my fav win of the year so far.

It's exactly what we have been crying out for, to win a close game when the usual suspects don't turn up.

Edit I said usual suspects before Bevo!

Just a great hard fought win that was tonight.

Well done to the legend and captain Marcus Bontempelli on his 250 games. What a career it has been.

Nervous ending but we got through.

Sydney certainly came out firing tonight and applied the pressure to us and they did get going but we responded each time very well.

We executed really well tonight from set shots and the Swans didn’t and that was the difference in the game.

Awful surface tonight at the SCG and it will need to be looked out. Players could have got injured on that.

                          GO THE MIGHTY DOGS!!

How good was Hynes at times. Throw in Sanders and Freijah and the kids are alright.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Hynes seems like a fierce competitor who won't ever hesitate to fend someone off or go for the hard ball. I'm really excited to see how he develops, I think we've really found something here.
