    Yeah, true.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Personal stats not huge from us (forwards aside) but alarming that we beat them by that much in contested ball for GWS and an alert for us on what to expect when that number swings around.

Montagna after the post game talking about going all offence is our way forward like tonight.......whilst we kept the opposition to 44pts.

How do these ****s keep their jobs?

To put this performance into perspective. The Giants had won six games in a row and three of those wins were against top 8 teams. They were one of the form teams of the competition.

            Tonight was a masterclass.

Honestly, having played a LOT of senior football at a good standard with wanker coaches who kept you off until late in the game, it's ****en hard coming on after three quarters of footy have been played.

I think the sub rule needs to be changed. If you don't have an injury that's already been subbed in the first half you need to make a sub after half time and select one player who has to spend a whole quarter off the ground. And in the last nominate another player or just play five interchange players. If you do get an injury in the first half then you should be able to use whoever you have without restriction (beyond interchange caps) in the second half.

It's bad for careers and it's bad for the game with the way it is today.

Great win. Never in doubt watching from the ground.

The game day thread loves misery for company.

Makes leading in and the rest of the weekend a bit more enjoyable when you win like that against a team like that.

We all called for Naughty and English to improve early in the season and it wouldn’t be far off their best games for the club to tonight.

Im loving this version of Naughty, he is getting on the move coming at the footy yes please!

JJ was very good tonight ladies and gentleman.

Oscar Baker gave us that Harmes level of defensive effort on the wing.

Garcia has just gone back to basics keeping it simple. Im liking this version and when the confidence comes he can hold on to the footy a little longer again.

Mcsteal like late last year has gone ahead of VDM while I thought Lobby had his best defensive game for a while.

Nothing came off for Westy but watching him live he worked his backside off.

The Giants were pathetic, 0 source pressure which is key to beating us. Did Hogan play?

That was an excellent team performance. We had good players all over the ground and our skipper directed the performance like the maestro that he is.

Our tackling and pressure was irresistible and resulted in many turnovers. McNeil was lively and should have kicked 5. Baker, Bramble, Poulter, JOD all had good games. JJ was attacking the ball and taking the game on again.

Naughton was in beast mode. His ground ball work was really impressive and his marking was peerless. Ditto Darcy. He made a top defender look like a schoolboy on a man's errand.

Shout out to English. He dominated Briggs and was influential all over the ground.

                            It was a great win.

That was fun. Would've liked a few more thousand in attendance.

I know they didn't have a heap to do tonight, but our key backs were incredible. Lobb had much better awareness tonight with when to spoil and when to intercept mark. That's been lacking this season.

The great thing about this game it was a real team effort with lots of players getting possessions and all contributing.

I bet the competition is getting worried about playing us.
