I just watched a replay and one of Bevos great moves was Cleary on Stringer , he was obviously told to run off him and take him on . Stringer just couldn’t keep up and Cleary used his evasive skills and speed to beat him 9/10 times .
Stringers body language told you he knew it too.

When he was interviewed after the game it was mentioned that the nails aren't checked before the game. Being adults, you think they would do the right thing.

From a players perspective, the lesser lights did more than can be expected of them which is awesome.

Darcy & Naughty are bloody awesome to watch, this year may not end the way we want it to and may even be considered a failure when all is said and done. But don’t take it for granted how fun it is going to the footy and watching these two kick bags and just work seamlessly together. Footys meant to be fun which we forget some times and these dudes are the benchmark of fun. As a young dogs supporter whose been just wanting to one day have one of the superstar forwards of the 90s & 00s on our team for once…. Here we are, and they’ve both got the better part of a decade left at our club too…

I was impressed with Clearly's game. If he can cut out the free kicks, he is going to be a very damaging player off the half back.

In the first quarter, the pickup at full flight and handpass to Baker which ended up in a Darcy crumbing goal was fantastic.
