No issues with Baz going but don't want to send him somewhere that he will shine & play in flags while we get not much. Would rather get nothing & cats midfield remains crap & he ends up a tiger where they will struggle the next 5 years.

I have full belief the Cats midfield can be average with Baz in it.

I would still like to know the real reason he is leaving. Is it the length of contract, the money, the opportunities presented to him?

Huge lol from yesterday is that Geelong finish the season 4th and actually below the team they destroyed by 86 points in a final 2 weeks ago.

Also Geelongs midfield was trash in the 2nd half yesterday and eesperstely need someone like Smith. Let's screw them hard - I'm confident that a hard-arse like Power will do exactly that.

Seriously though. Changed my mind, two firsts or PSD.

Like when selling a house, and the eventual purchasers are walking around talking about where their furniture is going etc. They are fully invested in getting him, and he’s fully invested in getting there. That’s to our advantage. So frankly, I wouldn’t hand back a future pick now with this public display of them both declaring their hands.

Got no negative feelings towards Baz at all, have plenty at Geelong though. Hope he has a great career at Richmond & doesn't play in a flag.
