IIRC there was a small forward we were hoping to get with one of the picks if Jamarra went anywhere but 1st and Adelaide wanted him too so that informed their bid. Then Thilthorpe was seen as safer being a local.

Yeah I wanted to draft Rowe but changing your draft strategy at pick 2 based on who you want to pick at pick 45 is complete bush league stuff. No surprise that sort of thinking has lead the Crows all the way to 15th on the ladder.
