Plus Voss was Assistant at Port for a while and still a lot of talk Ken will come over once he's had a break. The Port Blues.

I think he's played a big part in Adelaide's improvement. A huge blow for them.

This must be part of a bigger shuffle of roles. Good appointment.

DOGS BOOST COACHING PANEL WITH LIONS GREAT

THE WESTERN Bulldogs have appointed Luke Power as their new head of development.

The three-time premiership Lion quit Carlton earlier this month, where he was the Blues’ VFL coach for the past three years after three years as their head of development.

He was pursued by multiple clubs, including Essendon, but has landed at the Dogs as the club’s head of development in a newly created role, which was flagged by Inside Trading earlier this month.

He will work with current Dogs development coaches Ben Reid and Alex Johnson on Luke Beveridge’s coaching panel.

Power has a long history with talented youngsters, having been a coach at the Giants after his playing career ended there and also been head coach of the AFL Academy program.

He is the brother of Dogs football manager Sam Power. - Callum Twomey

I love how Jon Ralph claimed this as an exclusive.

But in reality, Juventus actually announced it 6 or so hours on their own social media platforms.

Jamie Maddocks was in that role last year wasn't he? Did we not replace him this year?

We sort of replaced him with Geary who focused more on leadership and development.
At some stage it appeared we aligned the development coaches with the line coaches.
Reid with Spangher, Geary with Lade and Johnson with Pratt.
Unless we hear more we might have 3 development coaches working with L.Power

Geary's official role as explained when he was appointed in 2023:
The Western Bulldogs are delighted to confirm that former St Kilda captain Jarryn Geary will join the Club’s coaching ranks as the Development and Player Leadership Coach in season 2024.

The 35-year-old will assume a new role in the football department, coaching in a development capacity across both VFL and AFL, while also working with the Club’s leadership group off field.

Geary’s responsibilities will also see him providing leadership services in support of the Club’s wider commercial business internally and externally.
Not sure if he took on some of Maddocks responsibilities when he left late last year? Some of the club structures are a little hard to follow from the outside.

Maddocks used to prepare all the data and the training schedule and objectives etc and after his departure Pratt picked that up.
I was fortunate to get an invite to a breakfast where Egan and Pratt have us a look at what they had prepared to present to the players .

Hawks were sniffing strongly around Spangher, so hopefully this means Matt stays with us.
