        On a day famous for second, third and fourth chances, let the record show that Danny Stanley and Sam Reid will be on AFL rookie lists next year.

        Simply astonishing.

          Is Farren Ray an Eker? Or is he just a little too 'solid'.

            I can't see why he would be considered an Eker. I don't think arriving at his 3rd club is reason enough.

              Re: Ekers

              Faz has played 200+ games. That's far too many to be an eker. He's eker-like but not an eker.
              They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

                Do we now have any Ekers on our list?

                    Ah hem... Dale Morris. Only player, ONLY, over age 30 on the main list to not play 250+ games AND captain the club. I mean fancy that, just being satisfied eking out 205 games from the rookie list and being an elite defender despite being under sized. And to think he thinks he can eck out another three seasons...

                    * I hope he does!

                      If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

                        You can't call him an Eker. He started AFL at a late age after having two knee reconstructions. He has worked his butt off to get into the senior team.

                                It reminds me of Bart getting put into the remedial class at Cypress Creek;
