Yeah I wouldn't, but with 15 games in 4 years on the list he is probably the closest we have

            Simply astonishing.
Sam Reid embarks on a new chapter of his ekerthon. No longer locked in to a mentoring role in the GWS Magoos leads to the big question - will he add a couple of games to his six year, 25 game total? Or, will he jeopardise his eker status by becoming a permanent fixture in the side? My money's on the former but, good luck to Sam: I hope I'm wrong. Just don't play well against us, ok.

To be fair, wasn't Ash Hansen's career limited by injury? and if that's permissible, then surely Tom Williams is our Eker.

I think long term list occupation with limited outcome due to injury counts towards ekerism or eker status. Rocco?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Surely there needs to be multi clubs, like Gumbleton or Currie. Otherwise guys like Williams, Menzel, Clay Smith and Morabito get Eker status which is a little harsh. But if another club takes them, game on I say.

I think multiple clubs, or delisting/relistings and rookie'ing are all important components of eker qualification.

So should reserve games played be a component of ekerism?

Can I nominate Jarryd Lyon from the crows? If not, he's only a season or two away

Of all the ekers, this guy is in a special little category all of his own. After capturing Mick Malthouse's heart last pre-season, look who Brendan Bolton seems to have taken a shine to.

Won't take him long to realise the Liam and endurance don't go hand in hand.
