    Re: H.sun supercoach

I bit the bullet yesterday and moved on Kennelly for Gilbert. Also downgraded Rockliff to Playfair so I can carry out an upgrade next week.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

I had a fair bit of cash so I bit the bullet and upgraded Kennelly into Goodard.

Forward line is still a big concern so I need Hall, Brown & Sylvia to extract the digit.

Not sure about that trade - who else was available to pick up at a similar price?

Still weighing up the fwd downgrade options this week. Too many roads leading towards the Swannies. Not that comfortable on JS for Playfair or TDL.

I was tossing up between Kennelly & Hooker to trade out. I kept Kennelly, brought in Sam Fisher

Not really a bunch of options. Gilbee, Carrazzo and a couple of others similar, but slightly more expensive options. I thought Gilbert at 459k was a good buy.

Watts will go up after this week, as a forward option.

Sylvia, one of my worst moves of the year.

I think my Backline is close to complete now barring injuries. Kenelley went for Enright. I also took a gamble on Shaggy this week and parted with Hams to get him. He's been up and down but I'm confident he'll bounce back.
                  • Goddard, Hodge, Gilbert, Enright, Hargrave, Newman, McGuire (Shepard, Nason)

Midfield is also looking good although I've never been convinced with Welles.
                  • Ablett, Selwood, Cooney, Barlow, Wells, Martin (Will be a premium next week) (Rohan, Moles)

Forward line is an absolute mess though and my rucks may as well not even play at times. I have well over 400K left in the bank so that will be fixed over the next few weeks.

Wells not playing this week. Just a heads up if you hadn't noticed.

Yeah he is on the pine and I'm starting Martin and Rohan. Wells' averaging over 90 so I guess he could be worth keeping but he is made of glass which worries me. I never planned on keeping him the whole year but I could do worse.

I should put more focus into my forward line next week.

                        Re: H.sun supercoach

                        I honestly hate supercoach.

I put Tippet on my bench this week, and put Mumford back into the team. Currently Tippet has kicked 3 goals & sitting on 100 points, at the end of the 3rd quarter.

I can't take a trick at the moment, hopefully Mumford has a massive game.

Cam Hitchcock (Port) and Tom Rockliff (Lions) are my F8 and F9. Because Leon Davis is out, I had to put one of them in. Cam is playing Richmond and coming off a 99, Tom playing Collingwood and coming off a 30, and Brisbane haven't won in 6 weeks. No brainer, right?

Wrong. Port pull out a shocker and Cam scores 20 in the wet (thanks a lot Australian Bureau of Meteorology in Adelaide - A FINE DAY WITH MODERATE CLOUD???) as Richmond win their first game of the season, Brisbane play out of their skins to beat the Pies and Tom scores a 95. That's a 75 point decision right there. How could anyone have predicted that (albeit it was a Brisbane home game)? Crazy game.

ps. Having said that, Leigh Montagna and Goddard just scored me 150s (Joey scored 160!), Pods pulled a 140 out of his butt and Swan scored 120+, so just have to take the good with the bad, I suppose. If not for the Cam/Rockliff decision, could have been a 2500+ week. We'll see.

Hitchcock popped his shoulder Lantern so he didn't play for most of the game.

Sitting on 1782 with 7 players to go. Hitchcock's 20 the only real disappointment so far. I would have like a few more points from J. Brown as well.

You probably would have picked Port and Collingwood to win too, couple of decent upsets involved. Players generally score more in a win, hence my poor start on Friday night
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.
