    A Western derby. Go Dogs!

I went to both western derbies last year at WO v Willy and Werribee. Beat Werribee easily but Willy strong side lost comfortably.

Is this real life? This backline in our seconds? It looks stronger than the one we have cobbled together in the firsts for most of the year!

                Three AFL premiership players.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

FYI - this is being streamed via the VFL website.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Nice that Dale Morris gets to play one last competitive match at Werribee, after we recruited him from there so many years ago.

I make it 13 years between games, I wonder if any other Werribee player has left it that long between drinks?

Looking at the rookie draft that Dale was taken in you could almost assemble an AA grade defence from it. Dale Morris was taken at 19, Josh Gibson 7, Heritier Lumumba 20, Ryan Crowley 39, Heath Grundy at 42 after 6 clubs (including us) had passed selecting players, Danyle Pearce 16 and Scott McMahon 38. Josh Drummond, Will Thursfield and Matthew Warnock would all be handy back up.

Handy players like Clinton Young, Matthew Warnock, Aaron Edwards, Scott Harding and popular eker Jonathan Griffen were also out of this Rookie Draft.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

We need Dipper to make a comeback and park him on the HFF.

Adams and Morris partaking in pre game warm up. Looks like Prudden out Injured again. Bit of wind around blowing to the Werribee township end. If it rains, it looks like it will be fairly light.
