It seems ridiculous that we are looking at still shots of training and reading match reports to speculate on players.

Definitely planning to stream games just depends on COVID situation.

I prefer the Eastern Australian Definitely Awesome Football League, or EADAFL.

Good to see some of the 2019 Fotscray players still on the list in the Box Hill game. Players like McComb, Sullivan, Short, Nayaf etc
were mainstays of that team that finished top 4

I thought Kellett was pretty impressive yesterday, was keen on him in his draft year (as was his coach Ryan O'Keefe) and thought he was unlucky not to get picked up. Will be a good addition to Footscray.

Some progress

The VFL draw is almost there. Clubs have received a draft fixture for the 22 teams. A stand-alone clash between Frankston and Coburg shapes as a highlight of Round 1: it could potentially be played under the new lights at SkyBus Stadium.

Anyone know if we're playing more VFL practice matches in the lead up to the season starting (which is still a month away).

Other clubs are promoting them, like always, crickets with us.

They will be announced on the run, Jacob - they're no set dates for practice matches at this stage.

No idea but it would make sense if we were playing a practice match against Collingwood VFL this week.

There is a reference in an AFL article on Coll that they were playing a seconds practice match Friday arvo. You would think logically we’d be their opponents but the article doesn’t mention an opponent.

Rumour is Dogs v Pies at Gosch’s Paddock AFL ground Friday arvo prior to AFL game.
