        Well this is a little stupid if you ask me? If they can have a scratch match, why can't they make it for premiership points, with Vic clubs playing Vic clubs?

            Because it would only be AFL-listed players who would be able to play and no club would have enough AFL-listed players to fill one team.

                Whispers that Footscray will be playing Geelong's VFL side as the curtain raiser on Friday night via K Rock commentator

                Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

                                                    Great to see us dominate Geelong in the VFL. Josh with a big bag. He's loving his footy.

                                                    Jamarra with just 5 touches and a goal in junk time I think.

                                                        No news on the VFL at this stage. We are due to play North at home, but no day and time confirmed.
