Say a Grundy/Moore - for - First Rounder, Lipinski, possible other upgrade and a small Treloar contract renegotiation (say $100,000 x 4).

We aren’t buying picks, or illegally manipulating player values. If the cherry on top is extra cap relief, and the full $900,000 is declared in the joint TPP’s and the AFEL obviously sign off on it (with no apparent grounds in rule or law to fight it) and Treloar still gets his full salary. Then I see no issue with that trade getting signed off.
Exactly, a contract can be rewritten so long as all the parties agree. AFL player contracts are renegotiated lengthened/shortened/refinanced all the time.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
