Re: Mid Season Draft 2024
It could be a few reasons.
We don't rate the players available from our pick is that highly
Why invest time and resources in developing players we don't rate
Perhaps even some salary cap and moving cost implicationsWestern Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

Re: Mid Season Draft 2024
JOD has only played around 20 games of senior football (both 1sts and 2nds). He was never going to play CHB this year. He is still learning how to defend. Ask anyone inside the club and he is well ahead of where they expected him to be. Expect to him to be elite by the time he gets to 50 - 100 games.Comment

Re: Mid Season Draft 2024
He therefore adds better ‘depth’. If it’s only for 6 mths then all the better.
Having said all the above, I think Cooper Craig Peters is a better performer than Bianco, but his height just discounts him. There is no sadder sight than a young pessimist.

Re: Mid Season Draft 2024
Then the club has lost its mind. We are not contending. And our recruiters are drafting good kids. Kids which are out future. I?d be beyond disappointed in the list management team if we did this. Re: Mid Season Draft 2024
If we can play like we did last Thursday on a consistent basis we will be contending at the end of the year. There's a lot of frauds between us and Sydney.Comment

It makes absolutely zero sense to me.Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023Comment
