Can I ask how long ago your friend was on an AFL list? I ask because things have changed a fair bit over the last 4-5 years.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Oh right, well he was delisted 2 years ago and played at Essendon. Has it really changed that much?

Lets keep the discussions to Lachlan Hunters football ability. Hoopsnake has agreed that his comments were somewhat over zealous.

          From Emma Quayle on Twitter

"Oh and @ westernbulldogs fans, Lachie Hunter looked really good today. First time I've seen him play, but for a 16yo he really imposed himself"

Who did Lachie play for on the weekend?

Another question that may not even be sorted yet, but who is his mentor at the Bulldogs?

Libba & Wallis were paired up with Cross & Boyd, and we couldn't find two better mentors in teaching the guys how hard work pays off.

                Hopefully his mentor is Barry.

Did anyone see young Lachie on The Footy Show tonight taking a screamer for St Kev's?

I had a conversation this morning with a kid who plays for St. Kevs with Hunter. He also played last year with Liberatore and Wallis.

This kid said that Hunter is good as Wallis or Liberatore but is much skinnier than either of them.

I asked about Hunters attitude and he said it was first rate.

The McVeigh side of the family is very skinny, he looks a lot like Mark. His coach at the Western Jets is Steve kretiuk, he says his attitude is excellent too.

It has been suggested to me that young Hunter is a star junior

                          Re: Lachlan Hunter?

Yep his body is nowhere near as developed as Wallis and I actually think he greater potential then either Wallis or Libba from the few times I've seen him play. It's a big call I know but I've been fairly impressed with his defensive game and his skills were generally good.

Good to hear his attitude is ok, hope he can work on his fitness a bit more.

Double edge sword this whole father son business. - I don't like it.

Lets hope we have the courage to let all future father son prospects go if we feel we are "over paying" for them.

He played this weekend for Calder(named in the center), but didn't feature in the bests in the paper(the Hun).
