If we managed to get pick one in the mini draft, who would you take?

I would like two to be honest. Martin and Billings would very much be worth the wait.

          Billings is too young.

Billings would be great but he's not eligible for the mini draft, he was born in August.
They need to be born between January till the end of April to be eligible.

There's a replay of the two games on aussierul.es if anyone wants to watch it.
              You have to register though.

Young Hogan is a beauty. Might get shot down but he's got a touch of the Michael Hurley's about him. ( nothing to do with Indian cab drivers)

You're right. If they trade Boak they'll definitely go for midfielders, and I half suspect they will anyway. Wingard and Toumpass sets up their midfield for the next 10+ years. If they finish below us, I don't think we'll get a look in.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Looking at the draw, I wouldn't be surprised if Port finish above us. However I think he could be gone by Melbourne's pick especially if Viney is picked up in the 2nd round. They lack class in the midfield also.

I wouldn't count against Sheedy bidding for him. Not getting the coaching gig at the Dees and the Scully stuff. He's ideal for Gold Coast

If they trade Boak to Melbourne they will be able to probably grab both Grundy and Toumpas.

He's ideal for GC, they've only got Swallow as an inside mid.
I reckon Sheedy's going to play hardball .
