    Yep, I'd concur with that.

Who ever we select must follow the senior coach style and philosophies so an internal candidate makes sense.

It does, we need someone who's happy to have developing our players as a priority over winning games.

I agree with this. If Scotty West is still wanted at Werribee, then why not Gia. He has been doing some coaching at junior levels and is a great mentor to some of the young Bulldog players. I think he would be excellent for developing and he knows what Macca is looking for.

Ling could walk straight in you would think. So could Gia. Heaps of great options really. Would only make sense if we are keeping Macca however. If we were going to get someone like Roos in 12 months I think the VFL coach would be a more complex consideration.

I like the idea of Gia if he's interested and is in fact retiring at the end of this season. He's been taking on a bit of coaching from the bench on game days and is often seen talking to BMac at quarter time changes. Could make a good combo and Gia certainly has a passion for this Club and for it's future success.

Also, where would our VFL side have as their game day home ground?

I'm pretty sure that Whitten Oval has been announced as the home ground for our VFL side.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

The club still needs funding to bring it up to standard, but I don't believe its official yet.

Hope this comes to fruition then. Would be great for the local area as well as the Club.
