Re: Our VFL side
Collingwood have a mix largely made up of ex-TAC kids and VAFA players. They're not VFL journeymen.
SP, think we're on the same track that the VFL side should be used to teach the senior side gameplan, but i don't believe it should contain a vast number of players with extensive VFL or other state league experience. That's where i think we differ.
A extended list of around a dozen names made up largley of young players from the TAC Cup and surrounding suburban leagues would eb more beneficial imo, especially if we can have them training and learning our gameplan under our noses - we may just unearth a Picken/Morris type.
Just don't see the point of teaching journeymen our gameplan and having others miss out on gametime, who're not on our primary or rookie list, but could be with an eye to the future.
