With White, Lynch, Reid and Cloke, what do folks think about Jack Paine as a cheap option?

He would certainly pass the good people test, top class kid.

Won't be a cheap option. Pies rate him pretty highly I believe. Lynch is as good as gone after next season and he'll get plenty of opportunity this season and beyond.

Fair enough, he must have been injured this year because I haven't seen him listed at all this year.

A recycled key forward (although has developed into a third tall) kicking a near match winning 4 goals for Hawthorn. They can work out sometimes.

I actually think he's been playing at VFL most of the year, not entirely sure. I know someone in here said that he wasn't happy about not being in the Senior team quite a while ago. All I've heard is that he's rated quite highly by the Pies.

I also heard Young was rated highly and then virtually gave him to us. So ya never know.

Fantastic player. Quick, well balanced and kicks the ball well. The only concern is that we already have a number of players under 180cm. Taylor is just 174cm tall.

Not sure I'd call Gunston a recycled player at all. His team didn't want to lose him and the Hawks were desperate to get him. IMO someone like Everitt is a recycled player.

Unless it's a really juicy offer you do not trade out a really promising young player like Johanissen

If true, this is the most disapointing thing I have heard since the BMAC and JMAC came on board.
