    Recommendations of All Things Netflix

I've finally got around to watching a bunch of the stand up comedy specials, and it's actaually got to be on the best parts of Netflix. I can't believe it's taken so long to explore them. Jim Jefferies, Demetri Martin & Ali Wong are all very, very funny people. Martin with his constant, short, sharp jokes in particular seems like this generations Steven Wright, with less deadpan.

Some of the new stuff like Strange Things & Cartel Land have hit the mark, Narcos is back next week. I don't always rate the recommendations feature, and it seems I'm living on it now (outside of footy) but I'm not sure if all the 'what are you watching shows' are on Netflix, so do you have any specific Netflix recommendations dear woofers?

Daredevil - Outstanding action sequences with little to no shaky cam. The plot and acting can be a bit so-so, but a great deal of effort has gone into making a lot of the scenes reminiscent of the source material.

Making a Murderer - for me the big thing is not about making a character assessment on the people involved (I mean, I did - they're a bunch of inbred white trash numbskulls) but about the staggering screw ups and lack of professional governance that allow the authorities in these areas to do what thye want with near impunity.

Peaky Blinders - a bit up and down but the characters are engaging enough.

I too am open to suggestions.

If you can hook yourself up with the US catalogue there's heaps of docos on it. I particularly like the finance and sport ones. The Aus version doesn't have most of them.

I was happy the kid had his conviction overturned & was released from jail last week. That was some of the worst police, prosecution & judicial behaviour I've ever seen.

Is there an easy way do to this?

Step 1: subscribe to www.unblock-us.com. or unotelly or getflix (Geo blocking) or other. or get a vpn

Step 2: follow instructions on how to change DNS in your device you use for Netflix

Step 3: Go into Geo Blocking and change your region to USA, or any country you want.

I have also signed up to ITUNES USA and can order from a better range of movies than the Aussie one. PM me if you want more info, or need help

I would struggle without US Netflix. Has all the ESPN 30 for 30 docos.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

A VPN is the way to do it. Most have been blocked by Netflix so do some research and be prepared to demand a refund if they can't deliver what they promise. Sites like unblock.us etc don't work anymore.

ExpressVPN works but still have issues with being blocked periodically. Netflix is really committed to blocking VPN's and are getting more and more technically advanced at doing it.

I'm getting Netflix through an app via a Telstra TBox & Optus Fetch Box. Will a VPN work with them?

PM me if you like. If you run your vpn through a router then you can run anything or everything through your vpn. There's a bit of an upfront cost though.

I have no problems with unblock-us. When Netflix blocked US content, I put in a service request with Unblock-us and got a fix immediately. That was months ago and I haven't had an issue since. Yes VPN is always better but more costly.
