Do you mean punches him or runs over him?

I had an undercover detective pull his pistol out and point it at me when I was 16-I was being a dickhead but still he was supposed to be the grownup with police training. I went home and told my dad and he said "yeah well, you probably deserved it!"
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Re: Recommendations of All Things Netflix

For anyone that enjoyed Making a Murderer, “An Innocent Man” is another 6 part series that is well worth a look.

It follows two murders (and the convictions of two sets of men for those murders) in the Manitowocesque town of Ada.

The title comes from the John Grisham book of the same name that follows the cases in his first foray into Non-fiction (20 odd years ago) with a storyline that he describes would be “too unbelievable if it was fiction”.

I've just started The Vietnam War, the ten part documentary...………

It's fairly detailed, only one and a half of the one hour episodes in and it's quite confronting in spots.
            TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Does Manitowocesque mean it is set in Manitoba? I have family over there and they are seriously weird-even by the standards of my family! And my family is weird...

And speaking of weird one of my favorite Ian Drury and the Blockheads (Hit Me With Your Rythm Stick) songs is called *!*!*!*!ing Ada. I wanted to call my daughter Ada but the ex put the kibosh on it the moment she heard the song.

The reference was actually to the similarities of the town of Ada to Manitowoc (which is the town at the centre of the Making A Murderer docuseries).

But speaking of Ada, there is also a particularly great National song titled Ada.

Just finished watching the 8 part series Dirty John, based on a true story and starring Eric Bana. If you are intending on watching it you need to be on Australian Netflix as it is not yet released in USA, although it is based in California. (for those with a VPN or GEO Blocking, switch to Australia)

What did you think? One review I read said it was a bit cheesy, but good overall.

Have you checked out Russian Doll yet? It's actually pretty cool. Just started watching Maniac with Emma Stone and Jonah Hill, it looks like it's going to be fairly interesting.

Also just finished Ozark...….quite liked it actually and thought it got into the story really quickly and well.

I found it a bit cheesey. If you really want to get an understanding of how much of a terrible human he was listen to Dirty John the podcast.

I can also recommend Russian Doll.

Netflix are doing an increasingly impressive job of producing Netflix only content.
More of an In Bruges guy?

The Podcast was hard to listen to and not well structured. Agree a bit cheesy, but I wanted to find out what happened, without using Google. Thought Eric Bana's acting was very good.

Haven't seen Russian Doll, more due to lack of time.

Russian Doll is brilliant, best TV I've ever seen (but it did push all my buttons). Don't see how they'll back it up with two more seasons. I've watched it twice and may go back again to pick up dialogue I missed. So clever, witty, dark and heartfelt.

Looking forward to watching Dirty John, couldn't get into the podcast but I want to see Eric Bana in action.

I think the Good Place is better than Russian Doll, but yeah Russian Doll has some great twists.
