I'll second that. Sometimes I have the chips with a burger, even though the burger alone is plenty.

              Had a recommended burger today.

Its from Beatbox Kitchen, they are a travelling food van that does lunch and dinner on the outer of and in the city, today was at Docklands.

After a 25 minute wait by choice, It was worth it. Beef was so nice and juicy. Best ive had in Australia. $11 for the ' Raph Burger'. Took a good 7 minutes to snap out of my food coma so I could drive.

Hit em up on Facebook, they status update where they will be every day.

Ja, they tend to do the festival circuit too (last 3 years at boogie) - same owners as the Taco van.
Ate two in a row this year.

Local fish & chip shops tend to do well - my local (Kensington fish & chips) are pretty good.

Finally got to try out the place that was voted best burgers in Brisbane, its called Just poppys, in Riverhills, one of brisbanes outer south west suburbs. They have about 60 different burgers, I had the Calypso-rib fillet, bacon, cooked banana and their special sauce.Just plain awesome, and the chips were killer too.

The best burger I've had in Australia (and I've seen most major towns) is in Canberra, at a place called Brodburger. Love it, it's almost worth the drive just to have a Broddeluxe.

Went o Rockpool last night and had their Wagyu burger with onion rings. Might have been expensive for a simple burger, but god if that's not the best ever burger I don't know what is. It was sensational.

Good place if you are in the city to eat.

Yeah, eastern end of the casino. The steaks are great but around $70 and the burgers are around $30. But the quality is the best in Melbourne by a country mile. And that you can just walk up for the bar menu is great.

Thanks for that guys. It seems like a expensive place but well worth the money.
