I saw a bloke get stabbed to death in there one night. He was standing at the bar when a guy walked up to him and said "Are you Terry?" He said yeah and the next thing he was on the floor with a knife sticking out of him.

Is that your local azabob? Yeah the Union Hotel and Waterloo Cup Hotel I believe also popular around Moonee Ponds/Ascot Vale area.

I think they showed our 2016 prelim at the Union Hotel, Ascot Vale as well as the Railway Hotel in Yarraville which was going off that night.

I'm thinking that it would have been one of the Kensington crew. Victor Pierce and his mates/family all lived in that area back then. Or it could have involved the Painters and Dockers (union not the band) war.

One of the best threads on WOOF was the thread where the town was being painted RW&B........that was the time when I was shunted out of the haze of beating GWS in Sydney and realising we were in the big dance.

Yep. The same James 'the hound dog' Young. Bill Walsh and James Young were partners in a few bars but I think they are no longer partners.

Is that the Hound Dog Young from back in the day? I reckon that Bill Walsh from Cosmic Psychos had something to do with running the Cherry Bar.

Chops told me a couple of weeks ago that he Rev is up and running again.
