Re: England v Australia, Fourth Ashes Test, Nottingham
The most galling thing about the Ashes capitulation is that England are a very ordinary team and have holes everywhere. They only have 1 opener of note (who didn't score any big runs himself), their #3 position has only done the job in 1 test, they don't have a recognised frontline spinner, their keeper has not made any runs and their #5 batsman is a long way from consolidating a place long term. And yet this ordinary team wiped the floor with us - the players and coaching staff should be ashamed and disgusted with their performances in England. Any talk of the pitches is total garbage - every pitch does a bit early on and Australia (save for Rogers) play dumb and very arrogant cricket with hard hands. Imagine if Anderson was fit - we might have been rolled for 30 instead of 60.
